Marc Gordon - speaker, marketing consultant, author

Marc Gordon is one of the few speakers and writers that is able to draw upon a rich history of his accomplishments – and setbacks.  This level of personal honesty, combined with an energetic presentation style, has resulted in him becoming a respected and sought after speaker.

Inadvertently falling into the role of entrepreneur at the age of 16, Marc has seen his businesses grow faster that he could handle, stumble due to economic conditions, get squeezed out by larger competitors, or being sold to the highest bidder.

But through it all Marc honed his skills, developing a number of marketing methods that resulted in GoldPro, an automotive equipment company he started in 1994, becoming the largest of it’s type in the country by 1999.

In 2003 Marc sold GoldPro to a national distributor.  Owning no inventory or equipment, Marc sold what the buyer viewed as the most valuable assets of all,  GoldPro’s name, brands and web presence.  This was a testament to Marc’s marketing abilities.

A year later he started Fourword Marketing.  This new company allowed Marc to apply the lessons he had learned from his own companies towards helping other business owners.

Marc is the author of The Edge Factor: Ten Proven Marketing Tools to Help Your Business Get It And Keep It.  His articles have appeared in hundreds of trade and consumer publications across North America.  He is also a contributor to biznik.com, businessknowhow.com, a brain-trust panelist for retailwire.com, and an "Entrepreneur Expert" on peoplejam.com.

With the creation of Marc's video web series, marctv, he has been able to reach a whole new audience and strengthen his reputation and one of today's premier marketing professionals.

Marc lives in Toronto with his wife Natalie and children, Allison and Blake.
